When attempting to open them I get an error message "can not load word 6.0." I also have been unsuccessful in converting the files to an acceptable format. I was able to open, edit, and convert the individual folder contents until

I downloaded the Windows Service Pack 2. I don't know if this is related to my problem, or not. The info in the files is important to me and I very much want to save it. Can you help?

You need a conertion system in order to load your word 6.0 The free standalone Word document viewer from Microsoft will only read files created with Word version 97 and 2000 Go to: www.microsoft.com/downloads

In this way you'll get it.

You also can go to; http://helpdesk.graniteschools.org If you want to see your word 6.0 using your Wordpad.
