How do I delete a file in DOS?

From a dos prompt change to the directory where the file that you want to delete is by using the "CD" command An example would be "CD DOS" to change to the DOS directory Next type "DEL" and the filename seperated by a space AN example would be "DEL TEST.TXT" to delete a file called "TEST.TXT" in the DOS folder.
