Stop wayward print jobs!

Before you dive for your printer's power cord, try this tip.

Erroneously printing something or too much of something happens to the best of us Don’t just waste that paper and ink though; take the opportunity to try out this trick.

Follow the steps below:

1 Ok, you just clicked Print and are now realizing the document is HUGE Click the Start menu > Settings > Printers and Faxes

2 Quickly, time is against you; double-click your printer’s icon which will bring up what’s queued up to print

3 Depending on how quick those reflexes are, you might be able to stop the offending print job before it even starts printing Find the print job in the queue, right-click it and left-click Cancel

4 If the print job already started, don’t worry Once the printer receives the command to terminate, printing should stop.

Alternatively, you may be able to access your printer’s queue by double-clicking a small printer icon located at the bottom right-hand corner of your screen But don’t count on that being there when you need it most I hope this helps you save some paper and ink Good luck and have fun!
