OE has remove dangerous attachment?

This is our first "new" computer in many years. I have always had a MAC, and now have an e machine. On many e-mails I receive, it says"OE has removed a dangerous attachment."

I am not given a chance to see it or retrieve it. How can I address this situation? Usually, the e mail is coming from someone I know.

There's no problem if you check these e-mails, because this message says that any malicious virus have been remove, it tell you that it's safe to check your e-mails looks like you have a good anti-virus installed, that's why you see the message
