some of the windows I use with a program don't offer the usual edit choices, ie cut, copy, paste, select all. and the keyboard commands don't work for those choices. what I'd like to be able to do is copy some or all of the info and paste it into a word document to send in an e-mail.

can this be done or do I need some kind of editing software? my other choice would be to print it and then scan it but I don't have a scanner.

Thanks, Bob

Often times, a software or web-site will not allow users to cut and paste from their windows This is done to protect their information from piracy and other copyright infringments If you're trying to send a website, try using the Send feature located under the dropdown File menu in the top left of the webpage If it is a program, there should be a similar feature in the same place under the File menu
