Do you need a new firewall?

When I try to download Zonelab's Zone Alarm 5.5 I keep getting an error message on my computer and I have tried to download it from various websites like cnet. The error message that comes up is that "Validation failed for C:\DOCUME~1\ADMINI~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\VSINIT.dll." I was wondering if you had any other recommendations for good, but free, firewalls. Thanks.
