How to download Firefox homepage?

Every time I tried using Firefox 1.0, it could not find a homepage at all. I uninstalled it, downloaded and reinstalled several times. Now the browser window is completely inactive. Any suggestions?

In order to get the Firefox 1.0 homepage, do the following steps:

1 Open Mozilla Firefox.

2 From the Tools menu, click Options.

3 Click General.

4 In the Location(s) box, type start.shaw.ca.

5 Click Ok to return to Firefox.
