What are the differences between windows 98 and windows 98se?

I just bought a usb Wireless adapter and a wireless router to network an older computer in our house to our newer one and the USB adapter says it will work with windows 98se. Im running plain windows 98. Is there any difference and will it still work?

Windows 98 supports USB; therefore it wouldn't be a problem to use the USB adapter The difference between windows 98 and windows 98se; windows 98se supports DVD-ROM, Internet Connection Sharing and it improved faster startup time for running applications, power management features.
