How to detect and eliminate viruses?

Question

My questions is whats happening to my computer and how can I fix it. I put what was happening on the previous page by mistake. But it is real slow, won't detect an ip address for my external DSL modem, and reboots when ever it feels like it. Also it says i have viruses. How can i pinpoint these and kill them?
