The good news is the change is not due to a virus The problem was causes by someone changing the mouse and display properties You can change both settings by:

1 Click on Settings, then Control Panel

2 Double-Click on either Display or Mouse icon (which ever you want to change first)

3.a For Display Properties, click on the Effect tab

b For Mouse Properties, click on the Pointers tab

You can change both back to the default settings, from those steps.
