Why am I getting return mail when I didn't send them any?

i keep getting return mail from my address,that i did not send or know the person.How do i stop this?

This is simple, your email account has been hijacked!!! change your password immediately and advise your Internet service provider!!!

People hijack email addresses to send spasm and not get in trouble if you don't report it then you'll be blamed for it.
