Problems with your computer?

My computer will not fully load windows. There is an intermitent swishing sound as it is trying to boot up. Does this mean that the hard drive is shot?

This might be a problem with your hard drive as also might be a problem related with BIOS But surely it's a problem with your hard drive that it's about to crash.
