I was just doing a virus scan on my computer, and I saw that it was scanning THOUSANDS of files under these directories on my 2nd hard drive:

~JSA.000

~JSrc.000

~JTrg.000

It looks like they contain a backup of the directory structure of the drive. All of the directories are there, replicated under these three directories.

What are these things? Something that Windows XP does? Something related to a Restore Point? Something a virus may have done?

This are Documents and Settings Folder ; Program Files

Folder and Windows Folder You shouldn't delete these so important files, programs , and folders, because it will create a very complicated situation for your system please leave them alone If you are not short of disk space I'd leave well alone.

If you are getting short of disk space then:

1 Uninstall any programs you no longer want.

2 Run disk clean up

3, Run defragmenter

Delete files from TEMP named directories (this is usually fairly safe)

If you must tidy up, you can delete folders for any programs you have

uninstalled but folders have been left.
