We got a new computer for xmas with Windows XP on it and when trying to install our Magicscan 12oo, I cannot use the disk as it is only for Windows 95 or 98. I have tried the answer you have previously given but it has not worked. Please could you guide me in the right direction as to what I can do know.

Thanks, Steff Done

P.S. The information given about the RAM, Memory Size of the computer is incorrect as I do not know.

Well the answer, while some what unbelievable is quite simple Microsoft didn’t make XP backwards compatible At least not that far You shouldn’t believe the rumors that it is so great because it’s simply not The only thing I can tell you is to get the latest version of that software That should run on XP nicely
