I need to connect a USB Device (Epson Photo Printer R300) to my PC (HP Vectra - running Windows 98 2ed.)

I have downloaded and installed the drivers, physically connected the device via USB cable to the USB slot on the PC. I see to remember that there is sometype of USB utility that needs to be run here - Can you help me?

Thank You,

Ed

It is necessary to remember that Windows 98 and all Windows 9x are not compatible with some usb peripherals, because they need usb 2 intead of the common usb that comes with Windows 9x If this Epson photo printer doesn't respond, it might be due to the previous reason i gave you.

You need to install then a usb 2 card to your computer if this is your case.
