how to disable active X

Active x contents allows users to browse through web pages that contains animations and special functions However some content in active X may be hazardous to your computer by sending out mallicious viruses By turning off Active x you'll be disabling these special features and therefore would prevent viewing web pages in its originallity.
The way to disable active x is to select tools menu on I.E Then click Internet Options, click security tab, click the Internet Web content zone, and then click Custom level.
Next in the setting box, scroll down to the Scripting section, and click Disable under Active scripting and Scripting of Java applets.
Click OK, and then click OK again,
