When I start my computer and the desktop comes up, paint automatically opens. How do I stop that from happening?

You can open up your autoexec.bat file by clicking start>run then typing in:

Edit C:\autoexec.bat

Look to see if paint is listed in that file or see if it is listed in config.sys

Edit C:\config.sys

Once you find it, you can delete that entry from the list and you should have no problems.
