Webroot and Microsoft's spyware detection. Good idea?

I purchased Webroot for my system. Should I still download the Microsoft Beta Download for spyware? Thanks for your help. T.

It is safe and even recommended that multiple spyware programs be run in tandem After all, one program might detect what another program misses if new spyware is released

Remember to create a system restore point and back-up your data so that if by chance you do run into a problem, you will have taken protective measures to return your system back to it’s original state before running Microsoft’s beta download for spy ware
