Doom 3/Far Cry problem

When I play games: Doom 3/Far Cry, the system will go directly back to the desktop, sometimes in 10 min, sometimes in 1 hour of playing, it's never the same.

Sometimes it shuts the program down, sometimes it minimizes it.

After installing windows update service pack 2 certain programs behave differently According to Microsoft Far cry version 1 is one of the games that are affected by SP2 I would also assume about doom 3 as well
