Every time I start the computer it runs Norton's virus scan. Takes up to an hour, unless I cancel. How do I keep the scan from starting every single time the computer starts or restarts? I haven't been able to find in the Norton set up information how to have the virus scan un-pinned from the start up menu.

Make sure that a scheduled time for Norton to scan your hard drive for viruses is not set up

1 Open Norton AntiVirus in the Start menu

2 Double-click Scheduled Scans and click New Scheduled Scan.

3 Configure the desired settings to remove the scheduled scan

Click Next.

4 Click Save.

You're finished!
