I am trying to do a scan disk on XP which I believe is Error Checking but when I restart the computer and the blue screen comes up, it says disk check cancelled. How can I turn that back on?

Thank You,

Chuck

1 Make sure you log into your computer under an account that has administrator rights.

2 Click Start, chick Run and type CHKDSK /F, press Enter.

3 With in the Command window press Y and then reboot.

4 Do not press any key at startup or CHKDSK will be cancelled

5 If you don't press a key and it still reports it has been cancelled try a different keyboard as you may have a stuck key

GOOD LUCK!
