What is e-mail filter option?

Several E-Mails, from friends, only appear in my delete. How do I correct this?

You should first check your e-mail filter options to make sure that your options are not filtering you friend’s e-mails as junk mail....By clicking on your e-mail preferences and then junk email/e-mail filter option you can update your options or remove anyone that might have been added.

Also you might want to consider how long your e-mails have been in your inbox some email providers delete emails automatically after a certain period of time You might want to save the e-mail before it is considered for deletion.
