What is causing Outlook to freeze and how do I fix?

everythime i open outlook when i get on the internet to check my mail it freezes EVERYTIME i first open it. I end it then re open it and it is fine, anyone have any suggestions on how to fix it?

This can be caused when the mail store files are damaged if Outlook fails to shut down properly, it can cause freezing like you are experiencing There is a download you can try that is NOT free that will detect and resolve Outlook problem
