What is computer start-up lag?

it takes a long time to start my computer. it loads up macafee security center .screen shot, history kill, music match, ad-aware, error kill, and lva soft.

Based on past experiences, a lag in the startup time has usually been due to spyware or adware being inadvertently installed on one's computer If you have adware/spyware removal software already installed, try running it Make sure it is updated If you don't have it, the software can be purchased from any electronics store.
