I am looking for a reliable mp3 player software that will run well on Windows 98 SE on a 5+ year old PC with an AMD 550 processor. I used to use Creative Digital Audio Center (CDAC) and upgraded that to what is now MusicMatch Jukebox free version, but it is sluggish even when playing music locally.

MusicMatch software takes a large amount of memory to run Try using an older version of Windows Media Player Classic or Windows Media Player 6.0 You do an online search for it, or simply follow the link below.
