If you know the type of motherboard you have, Iwould sugest looking it up online and checking how much Ram it can support, and what types of video cards it can support It is possible that your motherboard doesn't support that much memory. If you're not getting any power at all, this may suggest that the motherboard was exposed to static electricity, which may have caused it to malfunction If you think this is the case, then I would take it into a repair shop.
