Give Your Desktop a Makeover

Get rid of that boring generic Windows theme.

Ok, so Windows themes don’t just change your desktop; most of them will completely alter the look and feel of your computer The basic functionality of Windows will stay the same but in most cases you’ll be changing your desktop, screensaver, icons, cursor, and even sounds Here’s what you do:

1. Right-click a blank portion of your desktop and click Properties.

2. The <i>Display Properties</i> dialog box will appear Click the Themes tab and click the drop-down menu to view available themes

3. Click a new theme from the list and click the Apply button to try it on If you have an Internet connection, you can click More themes online… to view many more themes available for download.

4. Once you’ve found one that suits you, click OK to save and exit.

You can also try searching Google for “windows themes” to find tons of themes created by users Cheers!
