How do I move the Taskbar somewhere else?

Moving the Taskbar around in Windows is probably one of the lesser-known features but can be very useful in customizing your desktop Here’s how to do it:

1. Right-click and unoccupied portion of your Taskbar and uncheck the Lock the Taskbar option.

2. Hold the left mouse button over the Taskbar and try dragging it to another corner of the screen or even the top of the screen When satisfied, let go of the left mouse button and the Taskbar will appear in the new location

3. When you’ve found the spot you like, right-click the Taskbar again and check the Lock the Taskbar option.

This tip works with almost all versions of Windows; Windows XP is the only version that you have to unlock the Taskbar first Cheers!
