I recently switched from aol to cable. I am currently using Outlook Express to manage email. In aol, I could place my cursor on the sender and subject line of suspected junk mail, click delete, and never open the email. However, with Outlook Express, when I place the cursor on the sender/subject, the email automatically opens! I don't want to open this junk in my system! How can I delete incoming messages without actually opening them?

To prevent junk mail in Outlook Express, select the offending message, click message scroll to block sender and click Outlook Express then will ask you if you wish to delete all messages from that sender that are in the current folder Any future messages from that sender will be automatically sent to the trash can Follow these steps for all your junk mail, and every time you check your mail

Here are some software solutions for you to think about

1.Symantec’s Internet Security will provide you with all the tools to protect your computer from such things as Spam, viruses, pop up ads, and spy ware in the 2006 version It also includes a firewall.

2.Microsoft’s Outlook provides better protection against junk Email It helps you better organize your Emails and contact info You can flag messages and many more features
