Can I upgrade my Ram on Compac 5020 Which now has 64 mb

Absolutely! It's as simply as removing the old and putting in the new The Presario 5020 takes 2 DIMM sticks up to 256MB (2 128MB sticks) This link will shows the three types of RAM for the 5020 http://www.memoryx.net/presario5020.html Once the new RAM is installed, go to CMOS to change the settings When the computer first boots up (before Windows starts up) there should be an option call Boot Menu or something like that; it's usually the F8 or F12 key Once in CMOS, go to Memory Settings and change you RAM type, other wise your system will think it's still using the old RAM!
