I did a search on hybernation and the only question in there was not complete in it's answer.

I had problems with my laptop so my husband wiped out the hard drive and reinstalled windows for me. He could not find the original disc to reinstall the Windows XP that came on my computer and so he installed Windows XP Pro instead. Now, my computer will not hybernate and so the hard drive runs periodically even when closed. How can I get it to hybernate like it should? Thanks for any help in advance! Debbie
