Email opening in wrong program

hello,

I were recieving e-mail and it ask what program to use it in. I accidently clicked wordpad. I meant to click word for window. Now I can't read any of my e-mail. Its show up with the computer trash. How do I change it so I can read my in-comimg mail. To let you know what I try, right click on one of the e-mail, went to properties, clicked change, nothing happen. Same old mess showed up. Need some help. Thanks.

Right click on start and click on explorer, go to tools, folder options, file types, then highlight the file, then change the program you want to open that file in.
