After downloading V90 upgrade from USRobotics,Windows 95 side of dual boot system no longer sees modem. NT side sees modems and it works fine.Tried reinstalling modem a couple times on windows 95 side. Windows boot still does not recognize modem. It did recognize modem before downloading V90 upgrade.Modem has been in the computer for a long time. A scanner was added recently. Scanner and printer work fine on both boots. The computer was put together by my son, 150Mhz Pentium, 80megs of ram Reveal 4x CD rom drive. Thanks for your help.

Try going to the manufacturer's web page for your modem and download a new driver for your modem Make sure you get a Windows 95 drivers Before installing the new driver make sure that the old drivers are removed You can do this by going to System icon in Control Panel, select Devices Manager tab, then if you have a modem listed hi-light it and select remove Reboot to Windows 95, on boot up Windows will detect your modem and ask for a driver for your hardware Install your updated driver If your computer does not detect your modem at startup goto Control Panel and double click on Add New Hardware.
