I keep getting an error message when I enter a web site that has background music. and later that none of my sound file will work. I keep getting a message that my sound card is in use. If I stay away from the site that has background sound it works fine. So can you help or do i need to get a sound card

You can start by removing the sound card from your device manager and let Windows re-detect it Here are the steps:

Right-click on the My Computer icon, then click on Properties Click on the Device Manager icon at the top then on the plus sign next to the Sound, Video and Game controllers entry Remove all of the items in this section than restart your computer This should cause your system to re-detect and re-install the proper drivers for the sound card If this does not work, it may be time for a new sound card.
