how do i copy my data from laptop to computor i have bought a 512 mb usb flash drive. i am very new to computors could you explain in laymens terms.

This question was answered on February 23, 2007. Much of the information contained herein may have changed since posting.
Plug your USB flash drive into your laptop/desktop; select the document or data you want to copy Right click on the document and you will see a small box asking where you want to copy the document, click my computer and select drive e:removable drive and click save/send Unplug the USB safely, plug it in again to the destination laptop/desktop and open my computer select drive e:removable drive and you can copy it now You should be able to transfer your document or data from your laptop to your desktop and vice-versa.
