Managing virtual memory

How should I adjust my virtual memory in system properties,in performance tab. Should I let Windows or should I change it and how much on either side. I do not play games. mostly play on the net and read and download stuff. to mess up my system so that i have to find way to fix it. thank for any help. ps some day i will get better with my spelling and sentence strouctroy????

As recommended by Windows you should let it manage the virtual memeory In case you decide to do it yourself it gives a warning that you might not be able to restart your computer As mentioned by you with 64Mb RAM and the kind of work that you do on your computer, you could try 300MB minimum and 300 MB maximum, and see if it optimizes your computer performance Usually Windows uses optimum amount of virtual memeory depending on the process and number of processes that are running at a given time Unless you are an advanced user you must let windows manage your virtual memory
