how do I load a new operating system using boot disk
This question was answered on April 12, 2007. Much of the information contained herein may have changed since posting.
To load the operating system that you have from your floppy or cd, first turn on the computer If it is floppy put it in the floppy drive, go to my computer, select the drive a:, and the data will display and begin to load, and if you have more than one floppy disks the computer will ask for it after the first one is done If you have a cd, put the cd in the cd drive and most of the cd now is auto run capable, meaning as soon you put the cd into the drive it will detect it start to load the new operating system that you have from your cd.
