Why does the computer not start Windows 2000 it just beeps long beeps constantly. I changed the interfaces but still acts same. It has a fairly new Motherboard in it. It worked fine but suddenly I turned it off and then it would not start Windows again just constant long beeps.

Generally you will receive beep codes when your computer fails what is called POST (Power on Self Test) POST runs general tests on your computer and insures that it meets the necessary requirements before booting up and loading Windows Please visit the site listed and review the list of beep codes to verify what beep code you are receiving
