I installed a new high end game on my computer and started playing it. then my computer just lost power and made a pop sound. Checked all the power sources and they were fine but my computer would not start. figured it was the power supply and so i replaced it. but it still didnt power up net even the MB or case fans moved so i replaced the MB and still it wont turn on, however the power i just tested the power supply by jumping the pins in the 28 pin connecter and it didnt come on so is it possible that the new powersupply is messed up to, just wondered cuz it was a iffy company that i got it from. ANy help would be great thanks :)

Hey there,

Sorry to hear about all the issues you are experiencing For the most part I think you are correct in assuming it is either your motherboard or a power supply issue There is a chance that your new power supply may be broken, but there seems to me to be a deeper issue here whether it's connectors, or even your power cord/outlets your using This sounds like a hardware failure, and I would definitely reccomend getting a diagnostics check done asap Good luck!!
