Most recently, everytime I try to run disk defragmentation I receive a massage telling my chkdsk/f is scheduled to run first. Thus it blocks the disk defrag.I've tried to research this on the web, but I still don't know what to do to fix this. Thank You....Tom Lopez

The use of chkdsk/f is to check the hard drive to check if anything is wrong with your hard drive and fix the problem at the same time A software utility designed to help chronologically order the data on the hard disk drive That is the possible reason you cannot run the disk defragmenter because you have to run the chkdsk/f first and then disk defragmenter.
