How do I setup my Cox email as my default email provider?

How do I set cox as my email provider in internet options,programs. It only allows outlook express or hotmail. I can't email direct from any web site.

In order for Cox to be set as your default email provider you need to set it up in Microsfot Outlook or Outlook express

1 Launch Outloook Express or Outlook

2 On the Tools menu, Click Accounts

3 In the Internet Accounts dialog box, click Add, and then click Mail.

4 In the Internet Connection Wizard dialog box, in the Display name: text box, enter your display name.

5 Click Next.

6 In the E-mail Address: text box, enter your email address

7.Click Next.

8 On the My incoming mail server is a.. server drop-down menu, click POP3

9 In the Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP or HTTP) server: text box, type the name of your POP (incoming) email server name.

10.In the Outgoing mail (SMTP)server: text box, enter your SMTP (outgoing) email server name

11.Click Next.

12 In the Account name: and Password: text boxes, enter your account name and password.

13 Click Next.

14 Click Finish
