Where are the restore points?

When I go into System Restore, all my restore points before 1-1-07 are gone. I have more than enough free disk space and have never received a message indicating a problem. How do I find and/or recover these missing restore points? The computer is about 2 years old.

The possible reason that you do not have the restore points before that date is because you may not have created a restore point before that date You may have a restore point but did not add/save the particular restore points, or maybe you ran the Disk Cleanup because of you used this it will remove all restore points That is why those are your only restore points.
