Why can my computer not recognize my printer?

I have install my printer but the computer is not reconizing my printer can you tell me what is the problem and how to resolve this problem. I know it is not my printer because i install it on another pc and it works just fine.

Your best bet is to manually install your printer from the printer disk You can go under control panel-Add remove hardware and install it there This is usually your best bet because your computer can get what it needs right off the disk Good Luck! Kevin
