Why will my computer freeze up and why is my printer having issues?

Actual have 2 questions if you don't care! First off my computer is always freezing up, we have plenty of memory and it is mostly when we are online doing something. We can't do NOTHING when it does freeze, because it freezes the keyboard and mouse. You can't even do the Ctrl+Alt+Delete thing, everything is totally frozen!! We defrag daily because of this, and have an anti virus thing going on. I'm just about to the end of my rope! Also, we are having a printer problem. Our printer will printer offline, but not online. Oh its will start to printer online but when half way through freezes up. So now we have to copy anything we want to print and paste it into Word to print it. So aggraviating...We deleted the program several times and reinstall the software to the printer, but still nothing is working...PLEASE HELP!! The first problem is one that many others have had on this board that I have seen while I have been on today The usual suspect is over heating when you are dealing with freezing issues You may need to upgrade your power supply, or get a few more fans installed in your case to help cool down your motherboard, and video card as well as other hardware The printer can be a little tricky as it sounds like there is a conflict with your printer and you can try rolling back the printers driver under control panel and reinstalling it, but the problem may also be occuring when the computer is in the motion of freezing up or what we also call hanging Give these things a shot and I hope things start working better for you.
