Why do I get a blue screen and fatal error message?

i often get a blue screen that says, a fatal error has occured at 0028:C00367A9 in vxd vcache(01) + 0000007D. current application will be terminated.it has appeared on windows screen, also on internet after this program performed an illegal operation box has popped up.hope you can help. thank you

On your profile you don't list the operating system you are using We are assuming it is Windows 95/98 These type of problems are often difficult to resolve There are Microsoft documented errors similar to these with systems that have Cyrix processors and coprocessors Could you refer back to your computer's documentation and look up the processor type if it is a Cyrix processor please resubmit your full questions and include the processor name and model and your operating system and we can work further to track down this problem for you.
