My daughter typed in a password on "administrator" and she can not recall what it is. Now we cannot access our computer and we have valuable info on the computer we need to access. The system is Windows 2000. Please is there anything I can do to bypass the password! We are on a tight budget and cannot afford to take it in to someone.

I would recommend checking out this website for password recovery on the Windows 2000 Machine you are speaking of http://www.loginrecovery.com/ One method method is by trying to restore a backed up System State in which you do remember the password The problem with doing so is that you'll probably lose all of the recently add users and groups, and all the changed passwords for all of your users since the last backup was made I sure hope this helps.
