Laptop with Vista?

Since getting my Toshiba laptop with Vista Home Premium on it, I have a problem when I scroll and or click on a link. The screen downsizes to a much smaller size. This will happen 1-3x before it actually stays put so I can view the website or Word document or Excel document. This never happened when I had any of the other versions of Windows. I have M/S Office 2003. Toshiba tried to have me adjust the touch sensitivity and then the zooming utility to no avail. Finally they said that it was an unstable Windows Vista O/S. Have you found this to be the case or is there another solution that I should try in order to fix it? If it is M/S problem, do you know if they are working on it? I tried to writing to M/S but they never bothered to respond to me. Thank you.

Well it looks like 1 or 2 things First thing is to do a windows update Vista has come a long way since its first release and there has been hotfixs for many problems like that However the second thing it could be is with the built in Toshiba software or with the software that came with the mouse IT sounds like you mapped a mouse key fuction to downsize the screen Check all Toshiba setiings and programs They may not all be in the control panel.
