Where is the spell checker in Outlook Express?

There is no spell checker with Outlook Express, Windows 98 2nd Edition. Is there a batch file or add on for it? Navigator has a very good spell checker, however I want to stay with IE5. Any downloads you know of??

Outlook Express is the free e-mail program that comes with Internet Explorer (4.0 or higher) Just to clarify, the use the Outlook Express is not tied to Internet Explorer 5.0 or Netscape’s Navigator You could still use the mail program in Navigator and Internet Explorer for browsing if you so desire As to the lack of the spell checker in Outlook Express, you may either be looking for it in the wrong place or you may not have one of the supporting programs necessary for it to work The only times that the spell check button will appear is when you are creating a new message or replying to or forwarding an existing message In addition, Outlook Express relies on the spell checker in the following Microsoft Office 95, 97 or 2000 programs: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint If you do not have one of these programs installed, the “Spelling” command is not available If you do not have any of the above programs installed, you will not be able to use the spelling feature in Outlook Express If you do have one of the above programs installed, check to make sure that the spell check feature in those programs are installed and working If all else fails, just continue to use the mail feature in Navigator and do all of your surfing/web browsing with Internet Explorer 5.0.
