How to Partition

I need to shrink part of my 250GB "C:" drive and Allocated a second partition on a Windows Vista machine??? Can you give me step by step instructions on how to do this???

I saw the answer to this in one of colburn's columns but I can not find it now.

You need to use a program that deals with partitioning A popular one is Norton Partition Magic You will need to purchase the program and then install it From there you "shrink" the original partition and leave the rest for the second partition Its pretty self explanatory and easy to use the great thing about it is it works "on the fly" Good Luck!
