I have a lot of music on my Compaq Windows 98. I am unable to get on line with it. I need to download all this music (about 8g) so I can use it on my laptop with win XP.

What is a cheap and easy way to do this?

There are several options you can try,

One would be to transfer your music through a flash drive, which could take quite a few transfers depending on the size of the flash drive.

or

You could install a CD Burner if you don't have one installed already and burn multiple disks of your music.

or

You could install a DVD Burner and only need to make two discs, but make sure it is compatible with Windows 98.

another option would be to transfer it over the network but since you don't have an Internet connection this might be out of the question.
